The First of Many

The first of, what will certainly end up being almost endless, orders of Camaro parts showed up last night!

NPD had this stuff to me in three days, which I think is pretty good. I have a new tank, fuel sender, gas cap, and an anti-squeak kit (a few rubber strips). I also ended up buying a tool to tighten the lock ring for the sender and a spring compressor, because tools. Packed in the cab of Truckasaurus is a battery, some fuel line, and all the other assorted bits that I should need to actually get this old girl running. I’ve not been this excited about a weekend since I got married earlier this year!

I was hoping to have her running this year, but I’ve been dreaming about driving this car again for a couple of decades. Thinking that it could happen in the next few days is just unreal.
