FINALLY!

It seems the entire summer has been eaten up with travel and repairs on the cars we rely on to get from place to place, I was able to start really focusing on Pandora!

I only have Studebaker fender protectors

I intended to get started on Saturday, but a friend from work wanted to take his Jeep out, so Wifey and I went along in Truckasaurus (which, other than bouncing a wire off the relay for the cooling fan, did great). Then most of the afternoon was lost to my first foray into Borderlands 3.

Sunday was spent testing and gathering a list of stuff I’d need to get her started. Overall, it was good news. The transmission fluid is up and still looks/smells good and should survive a few test laps around the neighborhood. Happily, I had the foresight to drain the coolant out of her at some point in the past. What came out was still a nice green and had no rust. Best of all, the hard fuel lines weren’t clogged up with the same powdery orange remains of gasoline like the tank was. The fuel was still bad, but was liquid when I blew them out (as evidenced by the picture above). I pumped gasoline through them until it came out clean, so I think those are still in good shape. I think I might actually get her running without too much hassle. I’ll have parts ordered today! Woo!
