Recent acrylic pours August
I’ve done some more acrylic pour paintings. This time I used Elmer’s glue as a medium (for most of them). It turns out, the glue makes the paint fuzzy and it causes cracks when it dries. That’s okay, mostly, because the resin (when the paintings are finished) will fill in the cracks. But these aren’t ready for resin yet (and did I mention that resin is a pain?).
You can tell which one above has the swipe/silicone. The others were a mish-mash of swirl pours and an attempt at the Dutch technique. For the following two, one is a swipe with silicone in process. I’m going to add another feature or actually paint (rather than pour paint) something like a lighthouse. And the next one was very cool until I put my finger in the drying paint when trying to move the picture to a different surface. Full of grace, that’s me!
Love them all!
What a fun site. Thanks for sharing!
