Transmission Project Done!

I got to drive Truckasaurus to work today for the first time in a while!

Even allowing for the days I was unable to work on this, it has taken way longer than expected. Which is normal, I guess. There was a list of other things to get done while she was down. The biggest was lower control arm bushings, but those are going to wait until after our camping trip this weekend. Everything there is so rusted that I’m afraid stuff will break. I did get the sound-deadening mats installed inside. They even seem to help a little.

I need to put some in the doors, but I ran out of time and mats. Tonight I’ll try charging the AC system and see if that even still works anymore. Otherwise, I think I have a functional truck again!
