Mother’s Day wetlands visit

Last weekend, we went for a walk to the nearby wetlands to get out of the house and see what there was to see. There were many Canadian geese and their babies out, a flock of unknown brown waterbirds with long beaks, a pair of osprey, a pair of cranes, black birds with red shoulders, ducks…Lots of action. We saw an osprey catch a fish! Of course, I had my binoculars with me but not my camera, so no pictures.

This morning, we took the camera. And of course, not as much action going on. But I caught a few pics.
